This tour will take you through the old town of Helsingor, tasting Danish food specialties. The tour include visits to the local bakery a real conditor, cheese store, butcher, coffee roaster and to Brostraede icecream which is world famous for its high quality icecream and to the new “attraction” in Helsingor Food Market which is located in one of the old shipyard halls.

Domain Aalsgaard is one of the oldest official vineyards in Denmark. Five white wine varieties and with
approximately 2.000 vines. Our guide is the wine farmer Lars. We taste 5 different sorts and from their we visit a local chocolate farm. Peter Beier is a recognized and honored chocolatier. At Peter Beier Chocolate they create a solid and sustainable ”from Earth to Table” concept in the small castle Ørsholt Gods. We meet with Peter Beier, who will be our guide and show his farm and tell us about his lovely chocolate while tasting over 10 different kind. It is possible to buy chocolate at the farm.

In the unique vaulted cellar from about 1590 you will be seated at the 200 year old tables in the glow of candlelight. The cellar is built as a kitchen, but has on later occasions been Helsingor’s guard- and wine cellar. The beer tasting is conducted by Gurre Brewery. The brewer from the local brewery which is housed at Gurre Castle, talk about their beer and you will have the opportunity to taste the brewery's beer (can also be arranged elsewhere than in the Renaissance cellar).
