Helsingor is a full day visit. From our UNESCO Kronborg Castle to the old town with many shops and cafes, to the Carmelite Monastery and Sct. Mariæ Church.
“Elsinore Walk” is a perfect way to explore the old town, Hamlet live at Kronborg Castle, the Culture Yard and the Danish Maritime Museum. At the tourist information is a free brochure and map for cruise guests.
It is also possible to explore Helsingor by Segway. Rent a Segway and tour the town and area with a local guide.
Easy access to:
- The Modern Art of Museum Lousiana, only 8 km away by train or by taxi.
- Rungstedlund, home of Karen Blixen (a.k.a. Isak Dinesen). Duration 30 min. buy tickets at the railway station.
- Copenhagen by train, duration 40 min., buy tickets at the railway station.
WHERE WILL PASSENGERS GET TAXIS AND BUS SERVICE IN THE TOWN?
In front of the train station approx. 200 meters from the quay or call +45 48 48 48 48. The railway station, bus- and ferry terminals are just 200 meters from the cruise quay.

Taxi from the quayside to Kronborg Castle approx. DKK 80-100 DKK – 15 Euro.
